Those New Year's resolutions

Well one of my "New Year's resolutions" was to be more active on my blogs. Like so many others as the year wears on I find those resolute promises to ones self in January fading as the months progress. You can tell this by looking at the date of the last entry prior to this one. Even though I started three blogs over five years ago I still remain in awe of those that find the time to write on a daily basis. It is a busy world out there and as the adage speaks it's words of wisdom "Time waits for no man".

I find myself in the unenviable position of blogging from a hospital bed, a first for me, which is one of the reasons that I have time to put down a few words on the electronic page this day. Having taken a rather bad fall and doing more damage than I thought possible to one of my knees I am somewhat immobile and am taking comfort in my keyboard and mouse to pass away the hours.

Let me give you out there in the outside world a little hard earned advice. If you are going to damage a limb make it an arm rather than a leg. Although I suppose if I had one of my arms inoperable I would be complaining that I couldn't type on the keyboard and wining about that.

I'm going to keep this short as the hour is early and I am supposed to be resting. I am in fact resting in my own sort of way just being here tapping the keys. Perhaps I will find some additional time to set down some thoughts on a number of subjects that I want to voice an opinion on but have been unable till now to find the elusive "tuit" device that would allow me to do so.

God bless all of out there reading these words please stay safe and faithful to God, your family and your country.
