Where has the year gone?

Wow, I just realized after making an entry in my rail fan blog that I haven't written anything here since Thanksgiving. I keep wanting to get down and take some snapshots of the new development at Edgewater while it is still in the construction stages. Perhaps I'll get my photos with the entire area under a blanket of clean white snow.

Oakmont looks very festive with the boulevard dressed up for the holidays. I unfortunately I haven't had a chance to spend much time admiring it or anything else outside for that matter. This has not been a stellar year for me health wise but with blessings from God and good doctors I am on the road to being my old self again.

Even though I have never been a fan of winter weather I look forward to this time of the year. The coming celebration of the birth of Christ brings people together in a way that doesn't seem to happen at any other time of the year. I hope all of you out there in the blogospher will also experience the joy of the season and keep its true meaning in your hearts.

So even though this year has gone by like a high speed train we have next year to look forward to and all that it will bring. Just some rambling thoughts from my keyboard before turning in for the evening.
